Lots of great films for the young, and the young at heart, as well as a hands-on animation workshop for all.
Several highlights: On Friday night, November 22, we are screening STAND UP & SHOUT, a great doc about an organization that works with students at a high school in Philadelphia and teaches them how to write and perform their own songs. The film runs for one hour and immediately following that, we will have a special performance by a group of students from ZUMIX – a program that does the same thing with students from the Boston area! They are going to talk about their organization and perform a few songs for our audience.
We also have an excellent film called Robin and the Hoods playing on Saturday evening at 7pm that is appropriate for all ages. Either would be a great way to spend an evening!
