We Plover ambassadors see a great many amazing-funny-heartwarming moments. When the hatchlings are first learning to navigate the beach there are innumerable stumbles, face plants at the fore. It’s only funny because the chicks pick themselves right back up and carry on. In this scene, Dad protectively pulled the little one back in and tucked him under his wing.
